Refund & Return Policy

Adopting a puppy is an exciting and significant decision. However, we understand that there may be situations where a return or refund might be necessary. Below are the conditions and guidelines governing such cases:

Valid Reasons for Return or Exchange

  1. Allergies to Pets
    If a family member develops a severe allergy to the puppy within seven days of adoption, confirmed by a certified allergy specialist, you may return the puppy.
    We recommend pre-purchase allergy testing to avoid such situations.
    Returns due to pre-existing allergies are subject to a 50% partial refund to cover costs and missed opportunities.

  2. Undisclosed Congenital Defects
    If a puppy is found to have congenital defects that were not disclosed before adoption, you may return the puppy for a full refund or exchange it for another puppy. If these defects were disclosed in the adoption contract, they will not be grounds for return.

  3. Veterinarian-Confirmed Health Issues
    If your puppy is diagnosed with a significant health issue within five days of adoption, supported by a report from a licensed veterinarian, we will offer a return or full refund.

  4. Behavioral Concerns
    Severe behavioral issues, verified by a veterinarian or documented through video evidence, may qualify for a return or exchange upon approval.

Invalid Reasons for Return

The following reasons are not considered valid for return or refund:

  • General allergies not specifically triggered by the puppy.
  • Health issues discovered after five days that could be attributed to external factors or lack of proper care.
  • Minor health issues such as mild diarrhea, worms, or teething, which are common and manageable in puppies.
  • Behavioral adjustments requiring basic training, socialization, or care.

Steps to Initiate a Return

  1. Consult a Veterinarian
    If you suspect that your puppy has a health or behavioral issue, we recommend getting an official diagnosis from a veterinarian.

  2. Document Evidence
    Gather all relevant documentation, such as veterinary reports, photos, and video evidence that support your claim.

  3. Submit Your Request
    Reach out to our team at support@daniellalabradorretriever.com with a detailed explanation and all supporting documents.

  4. Review and Response
    We will evaluate your request within three business days. If the request is deemed valid, we will proceed with the return or refund process.

Returning the Puppy

  • Secure Transportation: Please ensure the puppy is returned in a secure, safe, and comfortable carrier.
  • Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • Notification: Once the puppy is shipped back, please notify us with the tracking information.

Upon receiving the returned puppy, we will process the refund or exchange within three business days.

Ownership and Responsibility

  • Ownership of the puppy transfers to you upon adoption or delivery.
  • If the puppy is returned, ownership will revert to Daniella Labrador Retriever after the return process is completed.
